I’m currently programme director for the Playwriting MA at Manchester University, and deliver an undergraduate course in Playwriting at Royal Holloway University of London.

I also deliver writing workshops in a freelance capacity, most recently at the Royal Court Theatre, Arvon Foundation, the Kiln Theatre and the University of Lincoln, among others. For three years, I ran the Finborough Forum at the Finborough Theatre, facilitating Q&As and development opportunities for playwrights and other theatre practitioners.

With a background in teaching English and six years working at innovative children’s charity, the Literacy Pirates, I am both experienced and genuinely passionate about learning and creative writing for all age groups.
